I found Hotel Sunroute Utsunomiya conveniently located just a short walk from the train station, surrounded by plenty of dining options. however, my room was quite small and showed its age. The staff were really friendly, and the restaurant had some lovely French-inspired dishes. Overall, it was a decent stay, especially for the budget-conscious traveler.
